The $AIM whitepaper

AI Market is a Bring-Your-Own-AI marketplace: creators connect AI systems they already own or operate, publish them with their own pricing, and earn $AIM whenever someone pays to use them. This page is the living, on-site version of the whitepaper — no Google Docs link required.

01 · Core concept

Bring your own AI

Creators don't build for the platform — they connect what they've already built.

Concept
BYOAI

Rather than requiring creators to develop models specifically for AI Market, the platform lets anyone connect an AI system they already own or are licensed to operate — an agent, a model, an API, or any AI-powered service — and publish it as a listing. The platform's job is distribution, payment processing and reputation tracking; the creator's infrastructure keeps doing what it already does.

02 · The loop

Creators → services → users → payments → reputation

One straightforward loop connects every side of the market.

Step 01

Connect

A creator connects an AI they already own or operate — an agent, model, API or AI-powered service. Nothing has to be rebuilt for the platform.

Step 02

Publish

The creator lists it with pricing, a description and usage terms. The listing goes live in the marketplace, discoverable by every user.

Step 03

Discover & rent

Users search, compare listings by rating, run count and latency, and rent access to the ones that fit what they need.

Step 04

Pay in $AIM

Every transaction — a single call, a subscription, a usage package — settles on-chain in $AIM. The platform never touches fiat.

Step 05

Rate

After use, the user leaves a rating. Reputation compounds on every listing, so quality creators become easier to find over time.

03 · Pricing

Creators set the terms

The marketplace never dictates price — it just supports three common shapes.

Pay per use
EXAMPLE
10 $AIM / request

The simplest model — a fixed price per call, per token, per task or per image, charged only when the AI is actually used.

Subscription
EXAMPLE
500 $AIM / month

A recurring flat fee for ongoing or unlimited access, suited to AIs used continuously rather than occasionally.

Usage package
EXAMPLE
1,000 $AIM / 100 requests

A prepaid bundle of calls at a bulk rate — a middle ground between paying per call and committing to a subscription.

04 · $AIM

One token settles everything

Utility
$AIM
Rent access to any AI listed in the marketplace
Pay per request, per token, per task or per image
Purchase a subscription for ongoing access
Purchase a prepaid usage package
05 · Fee model

Fee allocation

Treasury
80 / 20
80%
$AIM buybacks

The marketplace fee taken on every transaction is used to buy $AIM on the open market, tying real platform usage directly to token demand.

20%
Platform operations

Development, infrastructure, security and ecosystem expenses that keep the marketplace running.

06 · Architecture

Settlement and execution, kept separate

The blockchain handles trust. Creators keep control of how their AI actually runs.

On-chain
SETTLEMENT

Payments, ownership of listings, and reputation (ratings, run counts) are settled on-chain in $AIM — a shared, verifiable record that doesn't depend on trusting the platform operator.

Off-chain
EXECUTION

The AI itself keeps running on the creator's own infrastructure. AI Market never takes over hosting or inference — it provides distribution, payment rails and reputation on top of infrastructure creators already control.

This page is the canonical $AIM whitepaper for AI Market and supersedes any external copy. It summarizes the platform's mechanics and is not financial advice — token terms may evolve as the platform develops.
